VIKASA SPAC Series Names New Audit Chair
Finance executive Abi Adeoti joins the acquisitions management team
[BEVERLY HILLS, CA – March 11, 2021] The VIKASA SPAC Series (VIKASA) is thrilled to announce the addition of Mr. Abi Adeoti. Mr. Adeoti will serve on the management team as Chair of Audit, where his more than 25 years of financial direction at the C-level will greatly enhance the value brought to acquisitions partners and their shareholders.
Mr. Adeoti’s career spans working with high-growth hardware and software companies, from start-ups to large public companies. He has done extensive work in capital raising, both debt and equity, and has successfully completed and integrated multiple transactions in software mergers and acquisitions. Some of Mr. Adeoti’s more recent projects include Intel’s commercial drone initiatives, a series of innovative programs propelling inspection, surveying, mapping, and record-setting light shows.
As Chair of Audit for the VIKASA SPAC Series, Mr. Adeoti will provide oversight on accounting and financial reporting, as well as serving a critical role in the search for acquisition targets.
“Serving on the VIKASA SPAC Series’ management team presents exciting opportunities for raising capital in the midst of the IPO Boom,” said Mr. Adeoti. “I’m excited to lend my expertise and experience across a diverse number of sectors, including cutting-edge technologies that advances sustainability efforts.”
The VIKASA SPAC Series seeks to sponsor Special Purpose Acquisition Companies focused on key sectors poised for growth in the new global economy. VIKASA provides an ecosystem of unique opportunities to bring new companies and technologies to the market. VIKASA SPAC Series provides value through its extensive network of industry leaders across healthcare, sustainability, fintech and e-commerce. SPAC Series companies expect a more financially advantageous arrangement than a traditional IPO, given the compressed timeframe and reduced at-risk capital of pursuing an IPO.
“The VIKASA SPAC Series offers a great opportunity to connect with investors looking to foster a company’s growth,” said Ari Platt, Vice President of Capital Markets at VIKASA Capital Partners. “Abi’s presence on the SPAC’s management team will significantly increase our ability to leverage networks and discover strategic partners to raise IPO capital. His experience with technology and fintech is an incredible asset. With his leadership and expertise, our shareholders can expect to invest with confidence and trust.”
